Thursday, December 4th

This morning I got breakfast and left to head a few streets over to the bus stop that would bring Cody and I to Stansted Airport. We left for Ireland today. The bus ride was a little over an hour long, and it was really comfortable. That just shows you how uncomfortable of living quarters we are in. ha.

We were really early to the airport, but we wanted to make sure that we made it on time, not to miss the flight. We worked on some homework, looked in some souvenir shops, checked in, and were even entertained by a little toddler who fell in love with us.

Our flight left at 3:45 and we were in Dublin just before 5:00. It was awesome because of the timing, we were flying over the sunset- definitely one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

We got on a bus from the Dublin airport to our hostel and checked in at Paddy’s Palace. Cody and I threw our bags in our room (which we had to ourselves- awesome!) and then took a walk along the River Liffey for the evening. There wasn’t too much there, and we later realized that if we had walked the other direction along the river, that is where all of the liveliness would have been. Oh well. Still cool.

We came back to the hostel after walking exploring for a while, and then sat and watched tv for a bit in the lobby before going to bed.
